Prior to present his Sitar recital at Bhaskar Rao Auditorium arranged by Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, during 1st week of July, Dhrubajyoti Chakraborty was requested by M. L. Kosharji and Shova Kosharji to play any of the Ragas that belonged to Malhar family because of paucity of rain even after commencement of monsoon in Chandigarh.
